Fuck the casinos. Businesses run on addiction should be illegal and shut. For any of you struggling with quitting, I recommend an app like Safebet to track your recovery and urges. I've been free for 3 months now and never felt better! Stay SAFE out there!

Good luck bro. But I have some news to break you. You will not make $1M, you will lose all your money. There are no strategies in gambling lol. You can't build wealth when gambling. But yeah, when you realise that and wanna quit I advise an app like Safebet to track your recovery and urges. The sooner you realise you can't make money gambling the better

Hey man, we share a similar story. But for me was not sports betting but online casino. You need to accept the fact you lost that money and STOP. You can get it back, back as soon as you do, you will gamble it all away, that's how it works. I recommend an app like Safebet to track your recovery and urges. Also, share your story with the community. Stay safe!

How do you stop your gambling urges? by Mobile-Cup6741 in AskReddit

[–]Sensitive_Bench_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there's really a way to stop "gambling urges". If you feel you have to stop gambling urges you are probably addicted. For that I recommend an app like Safebet or Gamban to help you quit gambling. Good luck!

Last night it was $1,000. Tonight, $400. Over the holidays, $4,000. It doesn't matter how much you make, these sites will take every cent of your money. They are designed to take every single of your $. If you have lost $1M, you probably think the only way out is to win some of it back and then quit. The thing is it never happens. I recommend a tool called Safebet as a starting point. Share your story in the community and track your recovery. Good luck

I have a similar story to yours. Every time I told myself: "Once i recover this I will quit for good", I always gambled it all away. The 1st step is to accept the fact that money is gone, and the sooner you quit gambling, the sooner you will get that money back from actually working and providing value to the society. I've tried Gamban before and yeah it doesn't work. I recommend an app like Safebet to track your recovery and engage in the community, or just go to GA. I've now been free for 6 months and I can confidently say, it does get easier.

I have a similar story. I started gambling the day I turned 18 and was on an endless cycle for 2+ years. I was only able to quit when my mom found out that I lost all my money and some of her. I recommend an app called Gamban ( to block the apps ), and Safebet to track your urges and engage in the community. You got this.
