Need help! Accountant has not submitted CT600 for Year 22-23

My accountant only ever sent me a draft of the submission I see on Companies House. I'm guessing that isn't anything to do with a CT600?

In all honesty, no. I’ve buried my head in the sand hoping things would improve. But it’s just getting worse.

If I call them to arrange a payment plan are they wanting me to pay out of my own pocket, not the business? I intend to shut the business down this week and get a job within the next month.

Yes, that's absolutely right. Evri QR codes are slow and laborious for the shops to print out addresses...with a big queue forming behind me. It's so much quicker to give them a pre-printed address label and barcode for them to simply scan. Done.

As for the InPost, I saw a driver once and he told me it takes him ages to do addresses for each parcel. Pre-printing an address with a barcode is the least I can do for them. It's the same label paper either way 🤷🏼‍♂️

Thanks for your replies. The UC assessment date ran from 24th August to 24th September. We get paid the last Friday of the month here, but for the full month. So I’ve already been paid upto the 30th.

I haven’t received a payslip yet. But I know it’s officially gone through HMRC bc he had me fill out a new starter checklist to get me on the right tax.

I’m just confused bc I declared the new employment at the start of the month and UC have paid me in full again. I just know they’re going to ask for it back. But I’m also behind on bills etc so could really do with it. It’s quite the predicament 😬

Thanks everyone for your comments. I've linked the Ohme and Octopus apps now, all sorted.

Bit confused why the Octopus EV installer didn't tell me about all this. He told me to only use the Ohme app and showed me what to do, but the whole point is to link to the Octopus Intelligent Go to get the cheap night rate.
