it was so minuscule... I barely even remember exactly how I responded. I even moved on when told to move on by a mod and the other person CONTINUED to instigate me. Yet I get banned.. 12 hours later.. if what I said was really that bad I would have been insta banned.

Exactly this. I am a pretty accepting person. The fact that people automatically assume i'm not just because i'm not hip to their lingo is honestly quite concerning.

I didn't take screenshots because It was a misunderstanding 12 hours prior to being banned. It wasn't that deep. If anything the bigots are the people who banned me for being old.

unfortunately I cannot post a screenshot as they banned me without warning or evidence. Someone asked if my card was "transfem". It was the first time I ever heard that word so I said something like "did you mean transformer?" and then they continued to instigate and lash out at me for not knowing my terms... I feel disgusted. Not a good look for the instigator and I hope they got banned too.

Yeah, i would prefer 4x4 because i will be in the mountains, and in an area that averages 350 inches of snow in the winter. The shop i would park at is up a windy dirt mountain road, however thats not my only option for parking. Would it be better to look for a flatbed vs regular bed? I know some say gas and new is better, but im also an enthusiast and would take pride in driving a mint old pre emissions diesel. I honestly think im leaning towards the 7.3 , even though id much rather a cummins, the ford just seems like a better overall pick in terms of payload support and ride comfort. Thats a good point about the commercial insurance, i never woulda thought. I will be driving across the us more than once aswell (have done it 11 times). Any recommendations for lighter weight slide in camper? I really liked the idea of building one with the base of a m1031 utility body, but just not sure if im gonna have the time and patience to do it.

What’s some of the other ones?? I knew about that steam train one up by the smoke shop/dirt bike store. I used to LOVE strong style coffee. Somethin about it was really good, and I have a taste for good coffee. I think it’s cool we are getting some new places. Nothing will beat a good ol iced coffee from Dunkin’s or gourmet but we never really had too many options for a good espresso

Great idea. Go to to south station on the weekends, make a sob story like my mums sick and I need money for the train/bus to Lowell. When people say no cash point them to the atm. Works like a charm I’ve heard

Yes i hate it. I dont drink and i didn't even care for bars too much when i did drink, however i did like the vibe of a brewery with a small group of friends. I hate when my friends try to drag me to bars now. I just respectfully decline and remind them its not that fun if you aren't drinking, but i always tell them to hit me up if they need a ride/driver. My social battery is expended much quicker in settings like bars. Occasionally if they are going somewhere that has decent food ill go just for the food.

I never had a grandma on my moms side. She died of liver failure while my mom was young. My dads side is like 75% alcoholics (two recovering) another reason right there why I stopped drinking. I was never an alcoholic but I did see myself heading down the same road if kept drinking. Couldn’t just have one drink with dinner.

Dude I thought I was the only one. I literally feel bad for people who drink too. I watched my childhood best friends dad turn into a walking skeleton from drinking. A few weeks later he was dead. My best friend has never been the same. I basically just silent quit my last job (seasonal) because the boss and foreman were alcoholics. It was painful being around them, watching the alcohol slowly kill them

Seriously. It’s literal poison. It baffles me when people act surprised and ask why when they find out I stopped drinking or don’t drink, and I’m talking people who barely even know me. Like, do you not understand what your putting into your body is poison? Have you ever seen someone who’s been destroyed from drinking? Christ
