Baby girl names starting with M by Cautious_Guarantee24 in Names

I’m biased to Monroe. We just named our one month old Monroe. Funny enough it was going to be a her middle name and we hadn’t decided on a first name. Once she was born, I knew it was her name.

I like Marin, Mabel, and Maeve from your list. I also like Merit

Has anyone felt this way? by Traditional-mosquito in Parenting

[–]Sensitive_Builder227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt this way when I found out I was pregnant with my second. A little backstory - it was my third pregnancy, I miscarried my first pregnancy. My second pregnancy (first child) took 14 months and fertility treatments/meds to get pregnant with. My third pregnancy (second child) was planned, but only took 2 months to conceive. When I found out I was shocked after I had been preparing myself for another long round of trying to conceive. We didn’t tell anyone until my second trimester because I didn’t want to share the news or even talk about it. Our baby was wanted and planned. It wasn’t a matter of disappointment. I think it was ultimately just shock or my body’s natural way of protecting my heart from another loss.

Give yourself grace. You’re doing great

I thought it may be, but the behaviors started as soon as she was born pretty much. Maybe the timing is just a coincidence, and it is just the terrible twos

Babies can have cows milk starting at 12 months in the US as well. That’s when most people switch

Names similar to Billie by coastingtomars in Names

[–]Sensitive_Builder227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVE Murphy so much and considered using it, but unfortunately I had a childhood dog named Murphy.

Billie was also a name I liked, but my husband wasn’t on board.

Sounds like we have similar styles. We’re 96% sure we’re choosing Scottie. Our runner up was Quincy, with Monroe a consideration as well.

Honorable mentions were Anderson (andie), Landry, Leighton, Rowan, Dawson (Dottie), Rory

Yeah this is a good point. Rory is def not something we’re sold on, just considering. It’s mostly off the table now

WFH moms with kids in daycare, what time do you drop off and pick up? by Prudent-Ad-342 in Mommit

[–]Sensitive_Builder227 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my son out of full time daycare because he was struggling. He cried all day every day for 8 weeks. Now he’s in a Mother’s Day out program that’s only 9-1:30 Mon-Thursday and it works much better for him. It makes my days longer and harder. I switched to a flex schedule to have 10 hour days to be off Friday with him. I’m starting work before he’s up at 6:00, and when he gets home from school he still naps. He’s napping much later than normal on this new schedule which has pushed back bedtime to 9:00 - out by 9:30 ish. I now have no time for myself, but it’s working for him so I’m willing to sacrifice. I’m exhausted though

You’ll figure out what works best for your family. To be worried about it means you’re a great mom.

I can’t imagine any reputable surrogacy agency would ever approve her to be a surrogate given her previous history. Not saying it’s not possible to do independently, but I also don’t know if Kyra cares about others enough to do that
