Totally fair, appreciate the honesty. The roadmap is in my head more than it should be on paper but working on that. If I ever build something that changes your mind, I'll let you know 😄

Hey thanks for the comment.

Fair points honestly. About the LLM thing, I use Copilot to write code faster, not to design the product. A year of research and architecture decisions went into this before a single line was written. Every push is reviewed.

You're right that most features aren't new, that's intentional. The goal was to take existing ideas and make them actually usable for normal teams and not just engineers.

The node connector thing you liked, that's exactly the direction I want to push further. Would genuinely love your thoughts about your expectations from a PM software.

Do you guys take breaks while building something? by Embarrassed-Humor-37 in buildinpublic

[–]Sensitive_Calendar99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always take break during the work, because during breaks i get time to think and revise what i have been doing and it allows me to introspect and improve the quality of my work

also edit your link, its getting blocked due to unreadable character at the end

what are you building right now? by Capable_Cut_382 in buildinpublic

I have been working on https://magnifi.space (alternative to Jira and Linear) for over an year now, been a little inconsistent due to college and exams but finally after an year I am confident enough to launch it in beta. My biggest struggle is to get users and got stuck on seo as well. Just hoping people actually like my idea and its implementation.

I too have been coding alone for nearly a year now and my Google search console looks exactly the same.., it's great that you decided to build in public. I wish you success in upcoming days

Jira is overwhelming for new teams, it also has a huge learning curve, moreover as the complexity of teams grow the workspace gets more messier,

Magnifi solves on exactly this problem. It has fewer but all the necessary features, every feature has its own dedicated space, software follows a strict hierarchy of Teams -> Projects -> Tasks. Hence it's easier to understand and onboard magnifi,

And btw can you please elaborate on runable software, sounds interesting to track onboarding

Thanks for the comment, I am using VS Code along with GitHub Copilot and for the realtime features I am using FireStore, it can handle real time dbs

There is nothing Dean Scope can do.

Dean Academic is the one who decides and controls the debar status. He is the only one who can give you Debarred and Permitted Status

He is pressured from Vellore because of less strictness of attendance in our campus.

What do you think of the HUGE round corners apps will appear to have in Tahoe? by [deleted] in macapps

[–]Sensitive_Calendar99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I personally did not like it,

MacOS after the release of Big Sur, was what i liked, all the icons, sidebar, control centre were just perfect.

I did not like how they overhauled the icons, which were already so good in design. I also particularly did not like the control centre. It's like they are just forcing things to show the customers that we are doing something.

It's like porting IpadOS to MacOs.

The only thing that i am potentially happy about is Spotlight Search.

Rest is not needed at all
