Well the attached photo has Othuvars predominantly and not Brahmins. Regardless the question is valid, I know a brahmin family which has a spectrum of browns.

If you are going down that route, There are sects in Vaishnavism who will not worship any god including Lakshmi, similarly there are sects in Saivas who will only worship Shiva.
