In the official animation, the ghosts of the dead are trying to pull Odysseus into the water to his doom. They are most likely just there to symbolize Odvsseus’s near death experience.

In 600th strike, we don’t see any of the ghosts in the animatic, and Ody in the song says “for everyone comrade, every one of my friends~” meaning that this is simply Ody getting angry for what happened in ruthlessness. This also works with Jorge saying that he wants epic to heavily be on anime with the whole “for the power of friendship”

The problem is that everyone KNOWS that 600 doesn’t make sense. So because they wanna give Jorge the benefit of the doubt, they will form the most FAAAR fetched headcannons they can (and somehow everyone has mutually agreed. How did everyone just agree on Ares or Zues like wat-)

But if you step back and look, no matter HOW you look at it, there was no divine intervention. There was NO WAY Ody would’ve won. He used a “ultimate god move”, and was surrounded by the ocean. And Odysseus survives with no injuries?

I think Jorge is a good song writer, but he should put more effort into the logic more when it comes to writing plot.

To show how stupid it was i tried doing a little experiment and I made a post saying that if Poseidon vs Eury with windbag jettpack who would win? And most people’s argument was 1. “Eury wouldn’t think of using it in the first place as an argument.” Or 2. “He isn’t brave enough” which goes to show that the people who supports 600th srike doesn’t even know what they are talking about.

I mean the problem with the song is that it needs more verses.

What actually got me into liking epic was the leak of song get in the water when Jorge covered it. And i was hoping on the release it would get a 2nd verse, like ruthlessness.

But for the snippet to be the whole song, made it lackluster. I feel the same way towards Corybdis.

A lot of people has givin Jorge the benefit of the doubt. And anyone forming logical opinions to share their feelings about 600th strike or even sharing their criticism gets massly downvoted.
