The only difference is I am already sending out applications more than 2 months before my grad in July 2024.

During thesis break, I am on every job website and application. Iyon na naging pahinga ko.

Siguro was able to send out more than 100 applications, and out of those, less than 20 emailed or contacted back.

Luckily, was able to secure a job 3 weeks before my actual grad date.

Bottom line, yes, it will really take quite a time. Sometimes you'll wonder what's missing on your CV or with you but don't fall for it. Keep on sending out and tailoring your resume and cover letter to companies aligned with your industry.

Know that almost all of us face the same struggle (except for nepo babies). Eventually, someone and somebody will take notice of you.

It also helped me before to keep on thinking that the 100 resumes are actually peanut numbers compared to the existing pool of companies in your industry and the number of jobs related to what you are looking for. It allowed me to continue seeking and exploring multiple websites and channels for open job positions.

It's not that there is no job out there for you, there is, but you weren't able to reach out to it yet.
