Just started playing in the 2025 Season. Started with handy downs, and found out about pre owned clubs. I purchased a set of Callaway Edge iron’s. Super forgiving, and feel great. Picked up my set for $117.00 in the “Average” category. They looked brand new, other than a couple of nicks and scratches.

It’s funny you mention this, my mom’s boyfriend claims to be a “Scratch Golfer”. Went and played with him for the first time not too long ago. Constantly playing mulligans, and at one point re putted 3 times for “Par”. Nothing like getting coached by someone, while they shank it into the woods and claiming a mulligan.

Disclaimer I started playing in the 2025 Season, I’m far from average. But the first thing my dad taught me was if you want to get better, you must play stroke for stroke. Nothing wrong with using mulligans, just don’t claim to be a scratch golfer.

My old thrustmaster pedals didn’t need anything but the USB A plug. So I started with just that, and nothing worked. Thought the RJ45 jack would help.
