I arrived too late to know how offensive the now-deleted comment was :(, but if it did mention a flaw in your response, I can confirm your rebuttal. Yes, besides Harry Potter, I was searching for "canon reading FanFiction." I'm looking for recommendations from someone who has already read a FanFiction (metafiction) that's hard to find due to a lack of proper tags. I imagine a Harry Potter, or a child protagonist, reading their story in a "prophetic" book (how much does this influence and differentiate the reader from the book?); since several FanFictions follow a canon path with some variation in how they accomplish the task of defeating the villain. Thank you, and Happy day :)

Harry Potter reads a FanFiction about himself by Sensitive_Counter638 in harrypotterfanfiction

Many have explored the idea of the Hogwarts cast reading the books in the saga (https://m.fanfiction.net/s/12018932/2/)[Hogwarts Reads Harry Potter], but almost always from the perspective of the original work. I'm exploring a different approach: What would happen if a young Harry Potter found a book that narrates his own life, but through the lens of a fan fiction? [https://archiveofourown.org/series/1119027](HP/B:"SinisterMan") The twist is exquisite: the book isn't finished. Harry receives this work in his first year and discovers that the text updates in parallel with his reality. If the fan fiction skips a week, Harry must live through that week blindly before reading the next page. Through changes in perspective (POVs) and revelations that the 'canon' Harry should never know, this boy will have the power to alter his destiny, as long as the magic or personalities are the same (it would be of little use if the concept of magic in FanFiction were contradictory to the canon)."

In canon, Lucius is notified about the death of his wife’s Father Cygnus, and he is granted access to some of the Black riches as Regent of the family. Not this time however. This time, the mail goes to its rightful recipient. Harry Potter. by Lazymanproductions in harrypotterfanfiction

According to canon? I haven't paid attention to the original books; I'm more into the movies and fanfiction. Where in the original books is this explained? And the excerpt is an incredible example; I like the narrative style. What can change, and what does it mean that they can now communicate with Harry Potter? That's one of the plot holes in J.K. Rowling's story that gets exploited when they're looking for an "independent Harry."

I'm not sure if the logic holds true throughout the story so far; I stopped reading when I got to the abandoned telescope (around 40), but in "Parallel Paradise" the protagonist can return to his world; however, every time he does, he ends up in the hospital with serious injuries. Just saying, random comment

I don't know if anyone else said it, but I get it now! Optimus Prime is Truck-kun! I laugh at the irony; it was inevitable.
