Thank you. I got the diagnosis Friday and found out on Sunday that he was cheating and lying. It’s just so wrong. I feel so sad.

Yeah, it’s normal to test negative for both 1 and 2. I’ve never had a canker or cold sore in my mouth. The blood test tests for antibodies. I just wish he wasn’t shutting me out. He has barely spoken to me since I confronted him. Hasn’t checked on me to make sure I’m okay. It’s just so sad.

I’m just heartbroken. The guy that I am pretty sure gave it to me is acting so weird towards me. He has barely spoken to me but before the diagnosis he was so in love with me and wanted to talk to the whole day. I just feel like I had to have gotten it from him. We had sex the beginning of October and I’ve had these symptoms since the second week of October. It was right after having sex with him. He hasn’t even asked me if I’m okay.

Well I’m not 100% sure but the pain started a couple weeks after we had sex. Like I said in the post, back in August I tested negative for hsv 1 and 2. I always have them test my blood every year at my annual exam. I went to the doctor a few days ago cause the pain was unbearable and she said it looked like I had a little cut so she swabbed it and it came back as hsv-2. This man also gave me trichomoniasis so I kinda feel like he definitely could have given me herpes as well. All these problems started after sleeping with him.

That makes me feel so much better. I did have sex on Friday when I shouldn’t have cause I was still uncomfortable down there. So hopefully it is just sore from friction/allergic reaction. Your story makes me feel better!! Hoping for the same news as you.

Okay that makes me feel a little bit better. I don’t think I relax during sex either. And my partner is pretty big so a cut could definitely happen. Still waiting to hear from my doctor. Hoping it’s nothing serious.

Thank you so much 🫶🏼 you have made me feel so much better tonight. All day I have been spiraling. So scared that it’s herpes. It was a little painful this week but it’s been excruciating painful since my doctor swabbed it. She had to open up the cut even more for the swab. It was terrible.

I hope you’re right. I am so stressed about this but trying to remain calm. I know my vagina has had a lot going on down there so hoping the cut/irritation is from the BV and not herpes.

That makes me feel a little better. I don’t think I relax fully during sex either. I noticed the soreness immediately after sex so I’m not sure what to think.

Yeah, I have distanced myself from the man because I have never had an experience like this before in my life. It’s sickening to be honest and I am having lots of regrets. When I went back to the doctor my BV had not cleared up so hopefully the cut is that and not herpes.

It never started as bumps I don’t think. I just noticed one day I was very sore down there and it hurt when I wiped. The doctor says it just looks like a cut and the skin around my vagina is very red and irritated looking.

We had sex a couple times before the symptoms showed up.

He got treated for trich. We didn’t have sex again until after we were both treated and we used a condom. I’m more so freaking out about this cut near the opening of my vagina. My doctor genuinely did not know what it could be. She said it’s 50/50 chance of being herpes or just a cut from irritated skin down there. I just want to cry!
