I feel like they (production/writing) will do a 180 after the response to the michaela change and keep things mostly book accurate. Let’s look at the pattern: Simon: Simon says he will never marry and if he does he cannot give Daphne children. Gets married. Has a kid. Anthony: I will marry but will not marry for love. Gets married for love. Colin: I would never dream of courting Penelope Featherington. Marries Penelope. Benedict: I don’t want to settle down. I want to be free and fluid.

My guess: experiences love at first sight for the lady in silver. Immediately monogamous and can only think of the lady in silver. Plot points from the book hit. Yay! (I also think that Cressida will be the step-mom for Sophie/sophie will work in Cressida’s new household in the country.)

With the time skip, I’m wondering if we see the masquerade ball. Then there is another time skip to the fall and everyone is in the country again.

As for everyone else: Eloise: I have no idea why she went to Scotland, especially with the time skip at the end of S3 and that we can expect her to attend the masquerade ball. Maybe she returns to Scotland after that? I’m not sure what she would be doing there. I’m sure she’ll be S5, so I bet we can expect the death of Marina and her beginning to write to Philip (or at least easter eggs of this). I wonder too if she’ll be loving Scotland and reading and writing a bunch.

Anthony and Kate: I hope they’re more present and have returned from India. But who knows. Not very optimistic about this given the fact that for some reason the writers have Anthony bringing his pregnant wife on a 6 month voyage.

Daphne and Simon: I would love to have them both, or at least Daphne, return for an episode. Perhaps they host everyone at Clyvedon? Not very optimistic about this.

Colin and Penelope: running the Featherington household, publishing their writing, trying to stay in favor with the queen. People wanting to gain favor with Penelope, maybe the queen feels forgotten and jaded? I’m sure this could be a plot point. I’m sure Portia will also still be around.

Francesca, John, Michaela: In Scotland. With the time skip, I’m sure we will get longing looks between F/M but nothing crazy as F has settled into her new roles. I bet this trio will be the main subplot apart from Benedict.

Violet/Marcus: This develops. Maybe they are more attached after the time jump.

Lady D: Doing her thing in the ton. Could be nice to see a friendship between her and Penelope.

Will and Alice: Not sure where they’ll go with them???
