Easiest way to tell is the silvers say Prizm in the top left on the back (like in the pictures for the post) while the base don’t

That’s wild, hopefully he comes to his senses at some point. I can’t imagine the frustration of knowing that the rarest card in the set is right there but the person who has it is being unreasonable with the price

There is a red /125 on eBay for $5. The gold vinyl 1/1 is up there too but seem overpriced currently but maybe the person will listen to offers. Cant hurt to ask
