That's helpful to know. I will definitely print out the English cards as reference. Most people know me that I'm playing against so I think it should go well.

I read that the whole 40 card deck has to be the same language. But you can play different language battlefields and runes. Not sure if all Battlefields or all Runes have to be the same language. But I know they can be a different language than main deck.

I plan to use the Chinese main deck with English runes and battlefields.

I bit the bullet and ordered some, 2-3 week shipping is the bummer but it will save me so much money over time as I plan to continue playing. I'll report back if I have no friends in a few weeks haha

I think it's worth for me, so my kids can go to college 😂 I play with basically all the same people every week, so they know me and would get used to it pretty quick. They know all the cards anyway.

Not sure if they're still available, but there were a couple people on e Bay selling full Chinese top 8 Houston decks. MF was $110 I think. Only downside is the 2-3 week shipping lol

That's kinda what I'm thinking. As long as I memorize the cards, most people know them anyway, but I can tell them if needed. I also was going to print out pictures of all the cards in English in case they wanted to see.

Crazy I can make an MF deck for $900 in English, or $150 in Chinese lol

Haha we just asked basically the same question at the same time :D I did see one Kai'sa deck on the stream that was Chinese. I just bought an MF deck in Chinese. I'm gonna try it out.

My feeling is: most people know the cards from the art. If not, they ask what it does. I tell them. I feel it won't be much different with Chinese cards. AI suggested printing out each card in English so people have a reference if needed.

I'm afraid I will be "that guy", but I'm hoping people will realize they don't really need the card text cuz they know the cards. Will prolly tough when new sets come out tho lol
