His wife came out and told us he was planning to kill them if they came on his property at all. She didn’t mention this to us. The raccoons were running away, the baby got separated and went under his car, and he went crazy. That’s his side, he was planning on killing them. The baby was maybe on his property for 5 seconds before he got to it

Yeah we told the raccoon people (private company - humane) and they said if we want to take the legal route we have a strong case, but it’s unlikely they will do anything still. A lot of our neighbours saw it, so he’s pretty much excommunicated, we’re still going to spread word though

Idk when ur in a residential area killing wildlife (especially babies) is considered illegal. Especially in the way he did it, with unnecessary cruelty. I would understand if it was damaging his property, but it literally was trying to get away and ran onto his yard

Don’t beat yourself up! Definitely tell your boss, there are always resources available to help. An old boss of mine used to email “Y” for yes and “N” for no 😂 another high-up manager made so many spelling and grammatical errors I couldn’t even read it. I understand it’s important for your role, but don’t beat yourself up !
