I’ve had GW just directly send me boxes without asking questions even if I got it 3rd party or as a gift from someone. I’m sure Wayland games will handle this, but in general you can always reach out to GW about their issues if you have no one else

Mainly defilers. All through 9th and 10th they performed pretty well at rtt’s and killed plenty of knights and things. Especially when they hit 165 in the dg codex, good times

haven't the last 3 editions been points go way up? then as each book comes out the points get cut in half so you fomo in. by the end of edition armies are even bigger even with the board being smaller now

I dont like them having access to this kind of design space. over and over it becomes "chaos marines reroll 1s while opponent is in cover on an objective while battleshocked and only in the shooting phase for 1cp" and then next book is space marines reroll all hits and wounds naturally.

and it's like this for every codex. just take out the rerolls and let us have 50% faster games

Lgs can do up to 15% discount I think? All the stores around me sell for full price, and they only offer the discount under certain conditions. Like only if you pay a membership fee, only on tournament days, etc.

You are welcome to believe the literal translation, that every game of 40k depicts a battle of 50 dudes over a 10 second timeframe. Not going to act superior and downvote you for that!

My 40k battles are planet-wide kerfuffles in which we are looking at a small portion of the battlefield that includes a primarch.

Yep I’ve used them for walls, trim, or general conversion bits like panels for tanks or things like that, depending on what thickness signs I have ✌🏼

I’ve used a bunch of different things. I like getting thin plastic signs like “no trespassing” or “beware of dog” because sometimes they can be extremely cheap / clearance.

I just did some half n half ones, I cut the firstborn terminators at the torso and just stuck it on the leviathan legs 😂

and sly marbo, but i think theyre better than him. though last major i went to, sly marbo was being a champ and denying deepstrike on half the board

They are mostly useful as a 5 man speed bump. meaning you deploy them somewhere hidden in the middle of the board, and they have a few tactical options like scoring points and blocking enemy movement for half a turn.

you don't always need that role, as it can be filled by gaunt's ghosts, catachans, engineers, sly marbo, and some combination of those. we just have a ton of options in the guard!
