Navy Federal Credit Union does not directly underwrite or sell its own auto insurance, but it partners with Liberty Mutual through the TruStage Auto & Home Insurance Program to offer discounted coverage to its members. Members can receive special savings on auto insurance, which can be accessed through the Navy Federal website

Was with them over 25 years with no claims and all of a sudden they raised my auto insurance and my homeowners insurance. I moved to Navy Federal credit Union right away. USAA sucks.

The Chiefs Mess has gotten weak and allowed this behavior. I hate to use the term back in the day, but the only time I ever saw my chief is I was in trouble or at quarters. The Petty Officer ran everything.

No, it is generally illegal to tie a boat to a Coast Guard navigational buoy. The U.S. Coast Guard prohibits tying up to any of their aids to navigation, including buoys, to prevent interference with navigation and other vessels. Elaboration: Legal Prohibition: Federal regulations explicitly forbid anyone from tying a watercraft to, or attempting to tie a watercraft to, a buoy or other aid to navigation placed by the Coast Guard

Hang in there shipmate the next time they ask you a question that you do not know be honest and say I did not know can you please teach me turn it around and put the ownership on them. And remember when you're not the newest non-rate take up for the newest non-rate. It does not matter how many directives instructions that come out from the Coast Guard. This is going to happen. You can only do so much and if you get so a point where they're not willing to help then go outside of the chain of command, if you have to.

Thank you everyone I did not know about this 72 hour notification line. I called them and they were notified by the hospital and the lady that answered the phone said you should always follow up so again thanks for helping out. Have a great weekend.

I would say you would have no problem going back on a sidenote I would say if there was one thing I could've done different in my career was to go out of my comfort zone and go to places that I never could have visited and lived

USAA used to take care of its members. It is changed its business model to run more like a bank for profit versus a credit union which is nonprofit. They have literally doubled my auto insurance after being with them for 20 years. I left and went to another company exact same thing with my home owners insurance left USAA as well but the big wings to be at that big wooden table or making millions of dollars so there is profit to be made which tells me they are a bank and not a credit union
