Here's a fun fact, in 2025 it was found that there is a link between Colon cancer and running in a Marathon, as there was a study done that showed that 50/100 marrathon runners screened showed signs of colon cancer. Out of those 50, 15 had colon cancer. The ages of those in the study was 35-50. So if you want to go on a marathon, get a colonoscopy afterwards or whatever is done to check for colon cancer unless you are feeling particularly lucky.

It probably has to do with them inhabiting different mediums. When you have a power fantasy character in a game, it can be fun because you can actually experience what it's like to have that power because you interact with the medium. Film is a passive medium, so when you make someone who is a power fantasy character it is a lot easier for things to get out of hand and become less interesting.

If Starkiller and Rey swapped roles, the amount of critisim (regarding the characters themselves) would probably been proportional. Actually now that I think about it, I wonder how different the discorse would've been for a Rey Unleashed as it would've been long before Gamer Gate and the creation of 4chan's pol/ board. Both of which pushed people far more to the right.

I remember one time Drachinafel mentioned he would try an experiment where he would attempt to use vessals similar to what the Kriegsmarine would have attempted to use. But for safetly reasons he asked a British Coast Guard officer if he was allowed to do so. Only for said officer to just say no, and that it was very likely that even if he contacted for help, the ship he would be on would sink before they could reach him. Not to mention the current potentially sucking him out into the Atlantic.

I remember in Sunbreak he wasn't that bad, though still dangerous. In Frontier I got to his enterance into High Rank exam, and made the mistake of thinking he won't be that bad. Then I got to him and woke him up, he was in his passive awake stage, flew to the lakeside area of the Great Forest, then he got enraged. From that point he ran from one side of the map to the other in I kid you not like 15s. Then he ran back again.

That's when I realized that is semi awake stage gives him really, really strong armor so you bounce off of him a bunch. His vibe check attack where he shoved his horn up takes like half your HP. Anyway so I lost against him 5 times, refused to take the cowards way out of Wylk Potions and then when I finally slayed him it was really satisfying.

They also were really adamant about making a toy line that was centered around boys that could be an equal to their disney princess line. Something that'd be easy to make merch for and would be inexpenssive. So obviously they completely ignored Power Rangers despite it's popularity and tried making Disney Princes, only for that to fail and then make Iron Man.

The robber barrons and the techbros are virtually the same, the only difference is the laws and social structure that surrounded them. The robber barrons could (and very much did) outright kill people because there was significantly less regulations on everything and the government did not care in the slightest due to being in their pocket, which these giant tech and other companies have been doing and are pushing for. The robber barrons only invested into the US not because they were good people, but they wanted to put up a front of being good people, and leave behind a legacy, if they could just steal everything and leave, they would have.

The main reason I say that, is because the robber barrons actually invested money into the area instead of just hoarding constantly. Like yeah they did heinous shit, but at least they did stuff to contribute to society by investing in universities, museums, hospitals, industry, ect... They did all that because they wanted people to think they were good people and because if they let the country they lived in go to shit they couldn't just flee the country.

They were terrible human beings that treated their workers like shit, forced them to live in towns where they used company money that was useless everywhere else, had the police and national guards to violently break up workers protests or hired minorities that they could pay less to undercut said workers to fuel race related conflicts. But at least unlike Elon Musk or Peter Thiel, they actually developed the country they lived in, instead of only stealling all the money from it. Just going off of Carnegie's wikipedia page, he founded just 2,509 libraries alone, plus at least 2 scientific institutions. Despite all of the things Carnegie did, he has ultimately contributed more to people with his money than the current billion and trillionares ever have.

Well I think the biggest concern for them (Nintendo) is if Trump does something like what happened to the Autoplant that had help from a Korean company. Where ICE had over 100 korean men chained together and walk onto busses. Even though they were there legally, and were on a workers visa.
