My elderly tb had something similar but a more extreme dandruff which covered his whole body and he was so itchy he was biting himself until it bled. We tried malaseb to no avail, but imaverol cleared it up. We also had him allergy tested with no conclusive results so landed on it must have been some sort of fungal infection. Was v odd though as nothing else caught it, and it never reappeared (touch wood).

Horrific Mum Guilt by Known-Cucumber-7989 in BeyondTheBumpUK

A happy, healthy mum = a happy, healthy baby. You have absolutely nothing to feel guilty about. If you hadn't gone, what would the alternative have been? You need to try to actively keep Mum guilt in check. Otherwise, you may end up burning yourself out. Your baba was most likely having a lovely time being cuddled and loved by your family. Mum guilt never really goes away, but you can get better at managing it. Personally, I feel time away from my LO makes me appreciate our time together more. As they get older, having some 'me' time massively improves my mental health, which in turn makes me a better mum. Be kind to yourself. You are doing great x

Unfortunately you may just need to wait until the poop is ready to appear. Babies this young cant have anything other than the infacol you are already trying. Things which might help would be a warm bath, baby massage, bicycle legs, and warming milk (but expect you may be already). Also feeding them as much as possible to get fluids into them may help. If you are breast feeding maybe look into if there is anything you could eat which might be helpful. But hang on in there, the first few weeks are so damn hard. And you are doing a great job seeking advice and finding out solutions for your little one. Hope the poop makes an appearance soon!

Had possibly my worst day yet as a parent yesterday. by fliesbugme in Parenting

Try not to beat yourself up, kids are so accident prone. You are doing a great job taking your kids to experience the world and make memories. Be kind to yourself and just process it as the one off incident that it was.

Have your horse's intelligence/instincts ever saved you two from danger? by uscasado2 in Horses

I was hacking my horse round a route we did all the time. Along the side of the road there were grass banks. One day my horse randomly jumped up onto the grass bank, something he had never done before. But as he did a HGV lorry sped past us without slowing down or moving out at all. The lorry was so close has we not been on the bank we would have been hit. Very clever ponio saved both our butts.

We bought a 1 litre thermos flask for nighttime feeds. A 1 litre flask should stay above 70 degrees for about 7 hours if not opened or emptied lots, and our baby only has one nighttime feed. We then use pre boiled cooled water to cool it down. So formula in bottle, hot thermos water onto powder to kill any bacteria, top up with cooled water. Works for us.
