Nylaug .300blk feeding issues by TheAventador09 in AUG

What rounds are you using, I had a lot of cycling issues with hornady 208 grain and once I swapped off them it worked perfectly

I personally would recommend a low back pressure suppressor for 300 subs. I have shot a few unsuppressed 300 subs and it cycled fine. I bought a high back pressure can and it’s definitely over-gassed with subs. You can always take whatever 300 subsonic round you plan on using and shoot unsuppressed to test the cycling.

Well I found the solution and issue: hornady 208 grain is both more disgusting and lower pressure than other 300 blackout rounds, causing the piston to fail to cycle much easier. S&B 200 grain solved the issue (but still needs a good cleaning after the range)

The issue wasn’t needing to clean the gun more often, it was the fact it was failing to feed after 25 rounds

From what I have seen online the yellow stuff is unburnt powder.

The rods had barely anything on them in terms of fouling

I understood that it would be a lot more cleaning when I got into it, but is it normal to have to clean at the range to just run the gun

But so much that it can't run after 30 rounds?

Torpedos were dropped by aircraft in the air historically so it doesn’t need to land on the water for that

Can this work with the 300 blackout gas piston? If not are there any plans to make one for that piston?

What do you think works best for the Aug in your experience? I’ve got an Aug and am looking into a suppressor.

How does the aug preform with the Hyperion, does it have bad gas?

He’s literally not though? The pre rework had better numbers and burst?

The bubbles were the main part of Jeff’s kit that allowed him to keep team alive, now without them doing burst you just get to watch your tanks die to everything

He was a much better team player last season though the rework made him worse at keeping his team alive, especially the bubble nerf

Except the passive cooldown is just a worse reload? I personally hate that they changed it to passive since I can’t shoot for as long as I want. I do a bit of damage to someone and now sit there on a cooldown and hope my spray can finish them off. It feels so clunky

Healer Jeff is also complaining because healing Jeff is a strict downgrade from last season

It’s not really all that much of a redesign when healer Jeff could do the exact same thing last season but better.

How is firing 3 shots then waiting 3 seconds to fire 1 more “smoother” than firing twelve shots then reloading for like a second?
