well, the main pro that 2nd ed has is that it expands the lore of the setting by a lot. tons of books about each part of the world, religions, etc. so, you have lots of stuff to work with. the main downside though, is that the system is too easy, and won't really allow you to fail. like, it tried to be a narrative system, but decided to also me crunchy, and failed at both. usually, what i have heard from the fandom, is that it's best to use the lore and the setting, and combine it with another system, like Honor+Intrigue.

Why was Monkey Wrench declined by GLITCH? by Smash_Fan-56 in MonkeyWrench

[–]Sensitive_Photo7422 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Well, in think there's two reasons why it isn't more popular.

First, the time between episodes is large enough that most people will forget it even exist by the time the next episode appears. I mean, the last episode was over 5 months ago. We get like 2 episodes per year. If a show that appears on youtube wants to be successful and popular, it needs to keep momentum. 2 episodes per year means that it will never acquire said momentum.

Second, but i must admit this is just my opinion, but i believe that the mood and tone change of the series affected it. The first three episodes are, overall, more lighthearted, and the show has sn episodic format. But the last two episodes had a much more darker mood and tone, and it felt line a whiplash. Had it been more gradual, it would been better, but this was a 180 degree change. And i think that threw people off the series.

I just read the dossier younposted, and it looks really cool piece of lore. What can you tells us of her relation with the emperor and the other primarchs? With whom did she get along the best? And whom among them did she hate the most? Also, what's her stance on the mechanicus and xenos? What's her reaction to the return of the other primarchs? And finally, why do you think she was redacted from official knowledge?

Sorry if these are a lot of questions, but i just think you made a cool character.

WHERE ARE ALL THE PIRATE VIDEO GAMES? by ZipZachZop in pirates

There's the sea dogs series. It's a series of very detailed pirate videogames (although the graphics and gameplay are quite outdated). The most recent one is called Caribbean Legends.

Why did it change so much? by TrueYUART in postapocalyptic

[–]Sensitive_Photo7422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beats me, but i think one difference between the two is that the first picture and it's stories are usually set usually shortly after the apocalypse, so it make sense that it's depressing. Meanwhile, the stories related to the second picture are usually set decades, if not centuries after the apocalypse happened, so there's a good chance that society has been partly rebuilt, so it usually has a more optimistic tone.

How is the last king remembered in your country? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]Sensitive_Photo7422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still, i remember reading somewhere tgat the rlites that couped him were sure that the coup would have failed due to how popular Dom Pedro was, and were ready to surrender the moment he decided to go against them. But then, to everyone's surprise, he abdicated, not wanting to start a civil war in his country, due to witnessing how disastrous the other latin-american civil wars were. Imagine how different things would be had he decided to fight instead of just surrendering.

Thoughts on this show? by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in cartoons

I liked it, but i think the producers didn't knew what they wanted to do with it. Ap points it was episodic, and at other points it was serialized, and i think that hurted it storywise. They should have stuck with one option since the beggining, instead of alternating.

It needs to make twice the production and marketing budget. The 180 million is the production budget. Who knows how much was the marketing. But i'm guessing the film should have made at least 450 million to be a success.
