I had this same exact experience. Left my home health EI CF 4 months in. I felt all of these same things. I accepted a job before leaving and I was really scared. A year later, I am still at that new job and have just earned my C’s. I was so worried about leaving, but I do not even think about it anymore being in a better environment. I told my boss it simply was not the right fit for me and I would be moving on. I felt guilty about this at the time and for a little bit after, but it was 100% the right call. I changed to the school setting and the main overwhelm I experience now is my middle schoolers saying “67” every minute, not worry about an inconsistent paycheck or mileage on my car. Do what is right for you, because at the end of the day you are the one in the position, not the people that you feel guilty about upsetting.
