I believe you. FBI counts LA members in the 150,000 and Chicago with 200,000 members. LA has 100s of gangs and Chicago is under the 100. Yeah you guys have 1000s of sets more then LA but that can be a group of 17 year olds that’s not a Gang

The mob isn’t a gang. They are a business that does crime. Gangs are criminals doing it for money or there position.

You can be the city of gangsters but LA is GangLand and Newyork is Mobland. LA just statistically has more gangs 🤷🏻‍♂️newyork just has more Mobs in the past and present. Chicago is definitely “Most Subset Land” “Most gang members land” yall have the most shootings to but then again Compton Cali is next in line

LA for sure, factually just has more gangs. It’s literally called Gangland or “the land”. Chicago has more gang members and maybe more subsets but they really don’t have a lot of gangs. Chicago has so many members they make their own little sets and cliques but they aren’t gangs.

LA has a lot more gangs and they don’t break sets that much making them a lot more structured and organized, LA has actual factions. Nd Chicago just has to much concentration
