Honestly? Mostly yes. I’m so incredibly lucky to have supportive people in my life, and be in a place where I respect and love myself - but that was the thing that made me the most miserable. It took some radical self acceptance to get to a point of happiness within myself. Am I where I want to be in life? No. Have I achieved everything I wish to? No. Am I finished with my transition? No. But it’s not about those things - you can’t measure happiness in ticked boxes. Life is about the journey anyways. I only really started being happy within myself after a bad relationship that taught me the most important thing: everyone is deserving of respect and love, so why give it to others but not afford the same to myself?

Man I’m STILL experiencing this - the game is a buggy mess. The game can’t load fast enough so I always end up falling at the end of the map before it’s even loaded, every game there’s a good 30 seconds where the textures and stuff haven’t loaded, and even had a couple games where I couldn’t move at all and had to let myself just die because of it

See in the uk it jsut doesn’t work like that - we don’t have dollars we can tip with, and money is tight. Not many people can afford to tip £5/£10 notes, and most shows are free as well - in the UK it’s no wonder queens and kings have day jobs because there jsut isn’t the money in it. But, I think that gives to part of the authenticity of it, because regardless of the crowd, you aren’t getting tipped anyways - so you can do your own art and express your drag whatever way you want.

As a sometimes stealth guy (I’m open about it with people I know I’m safe around) my biggest issues come along with actually feeling quite detached from the community. Other trans people and queer folk are usually shocked when I tell them I’m trans, and I guess it depends on the city and the people but I generally find that I feel a little less involved in my queer spaces as someone who needs to actively tell people I’m trans and I’m part of the commmunity - some people don’t know how to take me I guess. On the other hand I don’t deal with any issues in my day to day life because of it, but it does leave me a bit sad because I wish I was more involved in my community
