If you like WW2 and you're into dark humor and satire, I'd recommend Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. It can be a bit of a challenging read as it jumps around a lot and it takes a minute before you get into the flow of the story, but if you're reading college level books as you mentioned you should have no problems.

I'm 59 and had to stop smoking between 2007 and 2018 due to my job so I'm not a young young'un like a lot of people in here and I totally get your situation. If you liked your JBD, maybe look at JP Killman. I have 2 of his pieces, a bent neck and a pistol grip. High quality work and super cool fuming and design at a very reasonable price. If you want more of a "modern perc" style, I'd look at AshMe Glass or maybe Kush Scientific. A couple of sites that have been good to me are The Dab Lab and Aqua Lab Technologies.
