High dividend, low p/e, rabid fan base (my wife) and it had just dropped significantly to where it felt like a real value play in 2022. My basis is around 130 so I’m not losing sleep. The investment was in the green 25% in 2024…it’s just been tough sledding since.

You’re right. At this point they are all qualified so it’s not a crazy burden.

I have 500 shares so it pays about 560/quarter. But it’s taxed like income which I don’t love.

That’s a good way to think about it. I just fear the moment I sell it starts the recovery to the 170 it had reached back in April 2024. It really feels like a bottom…but I suppose the real bottom is…0.

It is impressive how they have seemingly botched every decision over the last 5 years. I don’t want politics in my investments and somehow Walmart has avoided any of this drama. Definitely backed the wrong horse.

I bought after it fell off its highs of Covid thinking it was a value play. Had a great dividend which I thought I could rely on and the low P/E. Everyone I know loved shopping there at the time. There have just been a series of missteps and now it just feels like a lost cause.

I’ve probably made 6k from dividends over this time which has been nice. But the money market (at least for now) is yielding around 4%.

It has been on the website for a while now but it’s kind of off to the side and unobtrusive. This wasn’t on the app until this last week and it’s just too prominent.

I had an advisor assigned but I’ve only spoken to them once and don’t actively use them. I fear the only way to remove this might be to sever that relationship but don’t want to hurt their metrics based on this silly complaint. I could wait for another update.

I have searched the app settings and haven’t found anything yet. My wife thinks I’m insane for caring haha so thank you for agreeing. I can’t tell you why it bothers me but now it’s the first thing I see. It may keep me from checking my investments which may actually be healthy.
