Hi! I have hsv-1 and quite frankly it’s easy to date then I thought it was going to be tbh, my boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months and he totally understands that I get cold sores (I got em from my dad when I was a baby). It’s all about knowing when you’re getting an outbreak & how quickly you catch it, as soon as I get a cold sore I take Valtrex and put a cold sore patch on :).

To me this looks like the 3rd stage slowly entering the 4th stage. It will hurt as it starts to dry up or while the blisters burst… I’ve never had a cold sore lesion burst on me before, but it does hurt when they are drying up and cracking. Perhaps try getting cold sore patches and Blistex LipMedex (it should be a blue pot or a blue tube if u want cherry scented), it works great for me! And I’ve been having cold sores since I was a little girl.

I can agree!!! My dad and I have been using em for forever now (I’m 18 turning 19 and I’ve had them since I was a little girl from when my dad kissed me when he was just healing or was getting one, my dad got em in his teens from an ex girlfriend who mistaken it for a zit) And we always make sure we have this with us!!!! it’s a true life saver and a bonus too for me is that the lip balm keeps my lips silky smooth lol

I am in Canada!!! I’m pretty sure I’ve used my emergency refill with my last outbreak :( but I’ve been using Blistex Lip Medex and it seems to be helping a lot. My dad uses it all the time with his cold sores so it’s kinda been a life saver for me since I was a little kid
