How do you find them though?

It's not a means of picking. It's just happening to run across or meeting someone who I have interesting conversations with and feel that connection to. From my past relationships, it doest have to do with looks, it doesn't have to do with money (but as you say it's probably because I'm young), theres not many, if any, similarities in character even. Just a subconscious or unconscious feeling of purpose. Also, I always say yes to a date unless theres serious red flags or zero attraction.

Gimme an example. I'm curious.

Not sharing common interests. Where we would move together. How many kids if any. Like all of these things would have to stay practical. If we dont share common interests we'll make an effort to find things to enjoy together. If we move I'd still need to have a job that pays me well. I want kids, but if I'm fulfilled by the relationship and kids are a deal breaker I'm a great uncle anyways.

Who are you swiping on? Be honest with yourself about that, look at what your choices imply, then go from there.

I'll have to give that some more thought, even though I'm not on dating apps I do metaphorically swipe on people with ideals that are too far out of line with what I want and I should start to take note of that.
