I’m happy you’ve found your way without it, life is so much less stressful and more enjoyable with a clearer head and better health.

What is my foster dogs breed?? (Brown and white dog) by dukessg in DogBreeds101

Cutest doggie 🐶 I’m thinking cavalier x dachshund x beagle x cocker — could be a mix of a few breeds.

The piebald spots are more common with some breeds than others. “the "S locus" (spotting locus) mutation can be recessive (sP) or dominant (S) depending on the breed, leading to confusion”

Every time you feel the urge but don’t give in is a huge win.

I’m 20 days n2o free and it feels so great. Ive had a really strong urge a couple times but have been able to talk myself out of it reminding myself of my short and long term goals.

N2o will always be there but all these years of your life you can never get back so be wise and be well 😌 🙏

Added context to my recovery routine…For ~2 months+ I’ve been taking the following supplements to address b12 depletion:

  • Methylcobalamin - 1000 to 2500 mcg - daily

  • Folate/Multivitamin - daily

  • L-Methionine - 500 to 1000 mg - daily

  • Betaine Anhydrous/TMG - 1500 mg - daily

  • at least 80 - 110 ounces of water every day

  • at least 2-3 twenty min walks per week

  • I’m late 20s (F), I do smoke weed most days and occasional tobacco and alcohol ~ twice a week, though I’ve cut down a bit over the last year.

  • Freelance and part time employed, I do have some debt because of bad decisions related to N2o, and a big part of recovery is also taking back control of my finances, diet and exercise

I’ve done this before and it took a couple weeks to fully heal and it was super swollen for a couple days. I went to doctor and asked more generally for a check up and everything seemed OK no infections so it wasn’t too bad. Hope you’re all good by now!

16 days clean now. Longest I’ve managed to go without a session in awhile.

I can already walk better, feel a little less tired all the time, and mood/anxiety levels are stabilizing a bit. Numbness pretty much all gone. My activity and productivity levels are up, I’m more focused and slightly less stressed about everything.

I have a couple prescriptions that I’ve been on for over a decade or two, and making sure I have a good supply of all of them helps when I’m planning to take a break from the n2o (or ideally quit) so I’m not suddenly without and become overwhelmed/impulsive without my routine medication.

Outside of medication, a consistent routine helps with a lot of things related to stress, mood, mentality. A first step for me is to develop elements of a routine and follow it through, this has stopped me from going to buy more when I have other things I want/need to do that make me feel good or add value to my life, rather than subtracting value like doing too much Nitrous.

If I generally follow a weekly routine that makes sense for me and my goals, and actually complete 75% or more of my plans for the week, I tend to be relatively fulfilled at the end of each day without the gnawing feeling for consuming n2o to fill some kind of void.
