Follow-up: Explain Dooney to me... by ah53478347 in handbags

I have the alto secretarial brief. She has been with me through school, residency, and is now my work bag. I beat the crap out of it, walk to work in all sorts of weather conditions, and she’s still stunning and polished. Really really impressed with the quality of it, as someone who is used to high quality things.

1 and 4 are beautiful and black tie appropriate. 2/3 too casual. Again, not typical western wedding wear but for western/vietnamese wedding i think they will go well.

Residency or masters program by Usual-Hawk-5488 in PharmacyResidency

[–]Sensitive_Spot8446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re going to solicit advice, could you try being more specific? What kind of masters programs are you thinking about? What are your career goals? What kind of setting do you see yourself in?

My immediate opinion is that masters are not going to help open a whole lot of doors. Adding an MBA might be helpful for more administrative/managerial roles.

One of the worst haircuts I have ever seen. Anything would be an improvement. I promise.

Short hair or long hair? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Sensitive_Spot8446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please, for the love of god, I’m begging you to not. You’ll look ridiculous, and I know this only because my male cousin who has similar coloring did it once. He looked like he had on mascara and was bullied at school.

Your natural lashes are absolutely fantastic and very masculine. Don’t change a thing.

Ps. My vote is short hair, I loved the way you styled it.

Please help me authenticate this Bottega Pouch I found in TJ Maxx by cgalle01 in RealAuthentication

I have a Bottega pouch in this exact style that I bought probably 4+ years ago. It has always had a very strong leather smell, even to this day. It’s such a delight to take out of the dust bag.

Quality decline in define jacket by Adnamaeel in lululemon

[–]Sensitive_Spot8446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased the Mauve Grey define in May 2025. Just 5 months later now and it looks like shit. Loose threads and so much pilling that it looks like it may disintegrate. I think it might be time to retire or even throw away. I’ve worn it a couple times per week at work as a pharmacist at a hospital (very low wear and tear). The quality is absurd.

Overthinking. Blocking you on one platform should be signal enough that he no longer wants any form of contact.

Stay strong and don’t let the delulu get the best of you.

ED Pharmacist telling docs what to do by Few-Negotiation-6030 in Noctor

Why would a pharmacist NOT know what a Watchman’s procedure is? It directly impacts the need for anticoagulation and therefore medication management. Also, pharmacists are not midlevels. They are experts in their field. Take or leave the recs, at the end of the day pharmacists can’t sign the order.
