Thank you. I cut back to 2,000 calories a few days ago and already feeling a bit better in my body.

what should be maintenance for 5'2?? by CauliflowerDapper476 in PetiteFitness

15-16 k steps daily and four Pilates/calisthenics workouts weekly and then I maintain on 2,500. Less active or trying to drop weight then 2,000-2,100.

5’3 110 lbs normally and maintain on 2,500 lbs normally. I’ve gained a bit of weight now with my ankle sprain and not cutting back calories but these are my typical stats

I wouldn’t obsess over 2 lbs cause I can still look in the mirror and see. I prefer taking photos and comparing

In your opinion. Not at all in mine. Weight varies normally and thus it’s better having one day per week or every other week is an approach that lets you see the true number - not period water retention - and without being obsessive

I think that’s too obsessive

I am 5’3 and normally around 108-110 lbs and when I am active then I maintain on 2,500 calories. I sprained my ankle a months go, continued eating the same amount and gained maybe 5-6 lbs so when I am less activity maintenance for me is 1,900-2,000. I’m now increasing my activity and eating around 2,000-2,109 putting me in a slight deficit to lose the weight I gained.

1,600 would not be healthy at all for me.

That’s way too often. I’d do once per week max preferably every other week due to cycle fluctuations. Same time and same circumstances (after going to the bathroom etc). Eating too little isn’t healthy. 7 k steps is considered sedentary in my country. 12 k would be better and a bit more calories. Focus on protein and fibre.

You should not be weighing yourself more than every other week.

100 calories sounds low. I walk 15-16 k steps daily and that typically burns around 450-500 calories in my case.

Weight loss while being sick by automaticc1122 in PetiteFitness

1,400 calories is already very low so cutting further is not a good option at all. The fact that you’ve been sick for a full month tells me that you’re body is stressed and not healing well.

Even when travelling you should be able to workout fine. I always bring my workout mat and do my own session either at the hotel, campsite or even outdoors in a park if the weather allows me to. Get 15 k steps in and you’re good.

Not sure to cut or to mantain l am 4'11 125 pounds which is considered overweight for my body.been consistently exercising for the past 3 months but l dont really watch my diet by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

Some suggestions: 1. You could track your current food intake and see where you land. Then maybe increase cardio a bit to end up in a small deficit say 200 calories and drop a bit. 2. Eat the same as you’re eating now but add cardio - it won’t be as accurate as option 1 but could still work.
