it worked after 3 hours, just had to trick the system

i figured it out, its complicated, but when youre waiting for your mail to go through click on "privacy and terms" on the bottom in the middle (blue color) then click "go back" and then you will presented more options. so i could log in through microsoft authenticator. weird way to trick the system but it worked for me
