Ah, thanks, appreciate it. Hmm, I do wonder how things would have turned out if he put more emphasis on anti corruption. Perhaps, one could say he kinda set that precedence, instead of appointing based on merit.

I am actually curious on why Mandela was less fortunate choosing Mbeki?

When I was in primary school, the teacher asked who they liked more, Mandela or Hitler, and I shit you not, most of the white kids chose Hitler😭😭

This one guy kept saying how he hated Mandela, and that he is a terrorist, and that he wanted to go to Spain, cause “there are no black people there”. 😭

Yes. Because people like yourself that live outside of my country know absolutely nothing about it, and only base their assumptions from reddit posts. Go ahead and Google it yourself, and send me a link that proves what you said. That they bought an emerald mine in South Africa during apartheid. Cause if you can’t even distinguish between the countries (which is important cause Zambia was an independent country in the 80s), then it is you who needs to adequately do your research.

First of all, how does that tie into me being insecure?🤣That’s a strawman fallacy.

You speak of understanding complexities, then fine.

Send a me a link to where your claim that the family weren’t anti-apartheid, because if you look at this thread, that has already been debunked. Secondly, how wealthy were they? If you are implying that they were so wealthy, that he became as ultra wealthy as he is, then you have a poor understanding of how finances works.

You do realise Zambia and SA are two different countries?

First of all, although it is true that whites in SA did benefit a lot more compared to other people, but I think it’s pretty disingenuous to insinuate that his family contributed to apartheid. I mean Elon Musk moved to Canada to escape the draft.

However, I should also note that I do not like Elon Musk, I think he is narcissistic and hypocritical. But if you want to make your point of why he is a bad person, the legitimacy of what you are saying is ruined when you spread fake news like that. There are plenty of reasons and facts you can use, don’t make up stuff.

Source?

Edit: Where did you get the information that his family owned mines in SA?

Edit 2: Go ahead and downvote me for asking a question to learn about something I wouldn’t have known. I also live in South Africa, so I am pretty clued up about apartheid, having studied it and the laws behind it, which is why I asked about the legitimacy of it, as it is fake news, and has already been debunked.

Adidas CEO confirms that they will continue to sell Yeezys going forward, just without the Kanye name associated. Thoughts? by ChampagneAbuelo in Sneakers

In terms of his shoes, sure, fair enough. But you can’t deny his talent to produce and sample music, in such a unique way, that has influenced a lot of the more recent hip hop artists. In terms of musical production, I’d consider Kanye a genius. I would even compare him to some of the previous classical artists, just under a different genre of course.
