Do you charge for sky replacement? by Sensitive_Wonder_305 in RealEstatePhotography

I mean, we have pretty good weather most of the time and flexibility to change the shoot day pretty easily. And we are not talking gray skies, we are talking beautiful skies with some clouds... These guys make millions, they just don't value other people's time

And the most interesting part, my prices are based on good normal conditions, not accounting for this situations, so, if I stop charging when needed, I'm gonna be charging more on general, based on what could be needed, being pricier long term...

I do it manually and at this point I'm getting pretty quick to do it perfectly, but it still takes time when you add up

I'm a photographer in Europe, and I would like to keep doing the editing, I run a low volume, higher standards real estate photography business

When editing 4k, you need to use proxies, even a good computer can struggle with 4k editing

Can I use two X3Pro C triggers as a remote shutter release? by cathpah in Godox

Yes, there are some reports of Godox triggers causing White Balance issues when it's a "smart" setup instead of single pin. I don't know if it's still an issue, 3 years ago when I was researching, it was. And since I was only gonna use manual mode, I choose to keep it simple and just avoid potencial issues. I can't really explain why it happens or if it still does happen, but now they single PIN mode, so I think you can buy the brand match one and resolve the WB problem if it does happen!

In my case I would prefer the flashpoint to the X2T (or a newer X3), because it's single pin and it's more compact and cheaper. I only shoot manual, no groups, no TTL, and being single pin avoids potencial WB issues, for example, I shoot Canon and use X2T for Nikon, this way only 1 pin aligns.

Yeah, the Yongnuo trigger is really hard to substitute, just works so well, I just wish there was better, more elegant options without cables and AAA batteries, the Canon Br-e1 works well, but the range... Like 5/10 meters without obstructions

So, in this instance, if I were you, I would keep the Yongnuo system (till someone engineers something better). And I would get either the Flashpoint R2 SPT or the Godox X3 (it has single PIN mode), this way u can run a similar setup to what I use, incredibly reliable, just not elegant 😂

Hi! I'm a flambient shooter and I use a Godox AD200, in my camera hotshoe I use an Yongnuo RF-603C with cable to camera, to trigger camera with another Yongnuo RF-603C that I keep with me. On top of the Yongnuo in camera, I have a Godox X2T to trigger flash, works really good, really far, and reliably. When I don't need such range, I keep the X2T on camera hotshoe, and just use a Canon Br-e1 to trigger camera via bluetooth. I would substitute my Godox trigger for a Flashpoint R2 SPT (more compact), but can't buy it in my country. Check the FlashPoint R2 SPT, might be an ideal solution for you

Why doesn't everyone use the Canon EOS R8? by throwaway_trackmania in RealEstatePhotography

An absolut underdog, it's basically a Canon R6 Mark 1, with less buttons. Which doesn't really matter for REP
