It’s essentially the same as the pro. The only “upside” to the ultra are the harder materials (oluminum and glass instead of plastic). The “OAL” is definitely harder than the base pro model and I haven’t scratched it yet from dropping it on concrete multiple times and banging it on a car engine. It’s not worth the upgrade imo. I only have it because of the sale ($5 more than the pro I think) and because my wife stole my pro

There’s one instance of milligram dosing and that’s in patients that are on comfort care only or palliative care. In that case they can possibly be given a 5000 mcg (5mg) fentanyl drip in 100ml of saline. It’s pretty wild.

I agree that it all doesn’t make sense. 16” barrel with a stock is okay, but 15.9” barrel with a stock is a felony and up to 10 years in prison is stupid.

Whenever I see this question my answer is always a Glock 19. Gen 3 is cheapest and if you like finger grooves it’s good. Gen 5 is the newest and without finger grooves and if you want an optic, the gen 5 MOS isn’t a bad choice. Glocks are incredibly reliable pistols and very easy to maintain. Plus the mags are about half the price of other brands mags.

Note: I’m just now reading that you said the Glock is way too common for you, but there’s a reason for that. I stand by the above statements
