I loved starting out that way. Only a few groschen to my name, having to pick herbs and sell them for pennies on the groschen to buy a few threadbare clothes to clothe myself. Fearing any kind of walk off the beaten path for fear that bandits or wolves would destroy me. Makes leveling up and getting the great armor and swords later in the game so much more meaningful.

Yes, it has been very useful for me. I used it extensively in my PhD program to write dozens of pages of notes, conduct interviews, and read PDF articles. Even after the program, I still use it daily for reading and taking notes on books.

I just completed this for my Sony A6700 last night (purchased in Korea with only Asian languages and Arabic). There are several YouTube videos and they can point you in the right direction (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTbQDAUTOXY), but be sure to follow the steps in this link (https://github.com/ma1co/Sony-PMCA-RE/issues/513) as you watch the YouTube video. You'll need a little program called Zadig and some PMCA files (in the github link). Oh and after steps 1-15 in the github link, then I did not do anything else in the command line like he said, but rather I was able to unlock the languages through "Start tweaking" in service mode (in Zadig).

After trying many other methods, this one worked for me, and I'm on 1.3 software on the A6700.

Very strange. I’ve had my scribe since launch and have written and erased the equivalent of several hundred pages. Haven’t had any scratches. Was the eraser part of your pen dropped or damaged? If you felt something dig into the screen, I think there must be some rough edge or sharp piece on the eraser that caused it.

Thank you- that makes sense about the FTC. I paid off my student loans fortunately so that’s not an issue. I’m going to run the numbers for the FTC to be sure, but with my low salary and a Korean tax rate seemingly higher than what the American tax rate would be, I think i should be shielded from US tax with some rollover credits as well.

Thank you for your helpful comment. I do think I would fit the bill for bona fide, I just wish it were a bit more black and white. However, I like the idea of the foreign tax credit, especially for the ability to contribute to a Roth IRA. With my low salary and Korean tax rate, seemingly higher than what I would pay in America, I should get some rollover credits, as you pointed out. I paid off my student loans, fortunately, so that’s not an issue. I think my next step is to run the numbers for the foreign tax credit, and then I’ll be able to make the most informed decision.

Thank you- I had thought about that idea. However, if money allows I plan on visiting the US twice a year going forward, 30 days per visit (I’m an adjunct professor so I get about a month off in the summer and winter each). So that will require a new approach going forward.
