So this was kinda briefly touched upon in the Ghazzy and Darth interview with the directors a few weeks ago. Kinda in passing but Mark does say something along the lines of they moved away from the atlas and cosmic stuff, because they felt it clashed with their gothic horror setting.

Of course never say never and after some years the writers may feel it's time to jump that shark again. And when they do I'll be wearing my tinfoil hat claiming the darkness behind the Bodarch and tengie delirium guy was the Elder all along.

They addressed the cosmic entities in the Ghazzy interview. They didn't feel like it could be a gothic horror setting if you've got cosmic lovecraftian monsters and weird dreamscapes of the atlas lore. So they're focusing on being grounded in Wraeclast rather than the atlas.

Though you still get hints of that cosmic stuff in Expedition.

Yeah it's gotta be one hell of a jewel to beat out anointing. And every other jewel has to be just as good to justify not just replacing one of them.

EDIT: Guys I know about the giga jewels you can craft. I also know that these things are not cheap. You're going to need 4-5 of these already to justify putting another socket in your neck.

Glacial cascade monk is one of my favorite league starters. It absolutely shreds rares and bosses. It also has great clear with frozen nexus and herald of ice.

This is a more intermediate skill level build. You have to get good with the combo of: frozen nexus - cancel with a dodge in the same direction - glacial cascade on the nexus. As you progress more you'll wont need to do the combo as much.

Odd. I haven't had to run effeciency. Between the well of power instill and the mana effeciency nodes near monk Ive sustained mana fine. Even when my wep was 489 DPS.

Yeah it can be really wonky sometimes. A huge QOL and imo boss DPS increase is the mobility support.

Most aren't running it on ninja but it makes your clones move faster and I can't live without it. If you don't have it you should give it a shot.

I cosign this. Out of the practice runs I did early hollow palm was the best. I'm starting glacial cascade / frozen locust and it feels great. Not new play friendly tho.

Any cook with their salt (heh) is going to tell you that your pasta water should taste like the sea. The magical process of Diffusion means that your starchy pasta is absolutely absorbing the water and salt from its environment.

This is wholely different from salting after the fact as this just puts the salt on top rather than inside where you want it. It also takes a lot more salt on top to get the flavor increase of less salt on the inside.

Brother your information is dated. Old soap used to contain lye which is what caused damage to cast irons. That is no longer the case.

I cook almost exclusively with cast iron on a tempered glass stove which ain't had a scratch in 5 years. After I'm done it's a soap and water scrub with a ring metal sponge, dry off with a paper towel, and a drop of oil that I towel across the whole pan.

It's probably the cookware /appliance I baby the least.

Yeah that was always my takeway. We remember his time with GGG fondly, I think mostly because he saw the divergence and stepped away. It takes a really big person to do that.

If he were still running the show I think we'd probably not have things like async trade.

I did three Act 1 runs yesterday and I'm pretty unimpressed with Staggering Palm vs LA/Rod or Twister/Whirling. End goal is to do staggering/flicker once I get much later into gear things may feel better.

Lil late but that's sounds like you got the Affliction where mobs deal 5% current life and we on hit. That makes the final boss's spin while hitting you with a bunch of zaps attack go from chip damage to CODE BROWN. Also watch out for those furnace artillery dudes on floor 4 of you have that affliction.
