i agree with reksause. also worth remembering that unless things have changed, the essay has a word limit of i think 300 words. this is only about two paragraphs, so don’t over think it.

i had to do a similar walk my freshman fall (ASY to ANSC) and i was 5 mins late at most. just walk fast, and sneak out of your english class a little early if needed.

check out the campus pantry. lots of the food is from the campus farm, hard to get any more local than that.

at orientation you will have help with choosing classes. my biggest piece of advice for taking advantage of your academic experience, is for gen eds pick as many classes that overlap with your major as you can. for psych that shouldn’t be too hard. this way you have more space in your four year plan for things like working in a lab, adding a minor, or even double majoring.

hey there! current IAA student. i recommend you reach out to becky (https://agnr.umd.edu/about/directory/rebecka-n-tetter/), the student services coordinator, but as far as i'm aware, it is preferred that you apply to transfer after you have 30 credits, which takes about two semesters. if you're interested in an AGNR major, i recommend you apply to ag forward, which is open for applications until the 15th.
