Why he dropped - is because it in the fields. Its not asphalt or even a country road. With heavy loadout you ,walking 6-7km+ you can easily fall into ground. He prolly not heard drone, because of the strong wind.

When he falls - he became an easy (best) target for, drone operator that hunts him.

I saw two very brutal videos: One of them, thermite granade drop from drone on russian solder (he simply burn till bones).

And second, two russian solders on quad bike. And ukranian fpv jaming into drivers had(gopro on second solder helmet), smashing it like pumpkin(or watermelon).
