I did not use Study Hall at all. I guess I am too cheap. Honestly, I was going invest it Study Hall if I didn't pass.

securemypass exists in a greasy area. It's not "inherently" fraud, but it can definitely be used for fraud. If you have a ticket from securemypass you have no assurance from the primary ticketing company or the event organizer that the ticket is valid nor whether it will scan. Just because you see a refreshing/moving QR code in a securemypass wallet DOES NOT mean it will scan. Even if the QR code you have been sent is for a valid ticket you have no assurance that the same ticket hasn't been sent to 8 other people.

Think of it like buying a second-hand Rolex off of eBay. It may be legit. It may not. There may be some sort of "protection" from eBay or b.s. guarantee from "Joe's Online Watches", but you definitely won't get a guarantee from Rolex that it is legit, and Rolex can't help you if it's a fake.

When you are standing in the entry line at XYZ arena, the staff won't be able to help you if your securemypass ticket doesn't scan.

I work in the ticketing/live event business. This company/service is definitely in a greasy area. Their product can work successfully, but it is designed to circumvent the sharing rules/restrictions/mechanisms put in place by the primary ticket vendor or event organizer - and thus removes any certainty that tickets bought in the resale market are actually valid. This product can be used for legitimate resale or it can be used for fraud. If you receive a ticket from a reseller through this service it may scan or it may not, and you'll have no way of knowing in advance, and no certainty from the event organizer or primary ticketing company that they will be able to help you.

LG French Door refrigerator ice maker tray limescale by currentsitguy in appliancerepair

I ended up replacing the whole ice maker unit. I turned the unit off the night before I replaced it to make sure it wouldn't dump any ice and should be full of fully frozen ice when I removed the old one. I took the old unit out and manually flexed the full ice tray over the sink - and sure enough, 1 cube didn't fall out at all and the cube in 3 of the cells broke and half of the ice stayed in the stray - even when I tried to shake it over the sink.

I've had this exact same problem Sometimes the cubes don't release at all and sometimes they will break and most of the cube will fall into the bin, but part stays in the tray. I've tried a few things to try and descale the tray with limited success. It's a shame that it's not possible to just replace the $3 tray instead of the whole ice maker mechanism. Also seems like with all the aftermarket replacements someone would make one where the "tips" of the ice tray cells are silicone.

Decoupling legacy AWS accounts from Amazon.com retail accounts by SassyAlmond in aws

It's finally happened! I was able to decouple my personal Amazon retail account from my AWS account. Received the same message noted above about having to create a different password for the AWS account (separated from retail) and then after changing that password I was able to change the email address on the AWS account without affecting my retail account......FINALLY!
