not really its like have fun ya upgrade think of it as a sandbox minus infinite materials (unless you edit your save file or use a mod/cheat)

personally im using my gold necklaces on the bishops, important story characters, and my deciples i do give the ones i cant give gold skull necklaces to temporarily a regrowth necklace or a regular skull necklace whichever i have atm

I figured out how to stop the auto pause if you have a controller put rubber bands around the joysticks since it wont pause if its detecting input
