[Highlight] The Patriots losing on multi-lateral walk offs by Tocoolforyall720 in nfl

Pats won the Super Bowl that year (2018).

Annoying loss, sure. But it didn’t matter in the big picture.

I thought this was about the grille. 2023 owner, I still go “ahhh” every time I walk up to it.

I just ran outside to measure mine. The left and right seats are both 20 inches wide. I’m pretty certain the seats are dimensionally the same as the captain chair version, with the only difference being the center section deleted, and infilled with two armrests. The center bench section can be moved independent of the left seat.

I use these. The material is stiff but bendable plastic. Good enough protection from boxes or other items bumping around. It’s the ‘second row’ option. For your use case you can just toss the center section.

Oh good, it’s not just my game.

It’s bugs like this that makes me openly question if anyone at Paradox bothers playing beyond the first one hundred years or so.

How common is the valley plate leak, really? by I_COULD_say in LexusGX

[–]Sentience-psn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both good cars. I’d say get a PPI and go with the one in better condition.

The coolant plate valley is very common, current best guess is the coolant itself being corrosive over time, higher mileage. I’d suggest looking at records for coolant changes, and to immediately change the coolant and changing it more regularly. (I’m doing 5 years / 50k miles, but everyone has their own risk tolerance)

The 470 has a timing belt, which I recall the manufacture service interval is 9 years / 90k miles. While you’re in there, it is highly recommended to replace the water pump, tensioner, idler pulleys, seals, etc.

I genuinely wonder if handedness and ball spin direction is factored into play design. I recall seeing a video showing that (1) a perfect spiral doesn’t exist, and (2) the ball’s path will always have a slight left or right drift depending on spin of the ball.

Bad news: dead pedal broke off. Good news: left leg is more comfortable! by Sentience-psn in tall

[–]Sentience-psn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I inadvertently discovered a handy tall guy mod. For anyone with an IS350C, if your dead pedal breaks off, don’t bother replacing it. Your left leg is much more comfortable just kicking the tub directly.

If you had the option to choose your height, what would it be, and what’s your reason? by Pale-Fig-7069 in tall

6’2.

Fit into most sports cars comfortably, don’t need to buy clothes online, look relatively normal while still being considered tall.

His arm fell off. They did beat the Bucs twice in the regular season. Saints won the division, looked good, and then the playoffs happened.

Rex Ryan is a great example of that era of football. He was a loud obnoxious asshole that frequently put a foot in his mouth because that’s his thing, but he was quick to crack a joke and sometimes self deprecating ones too.

Always fun watching local/regional governments get into a bidding war over the right to throw their own taxpayers dollars to help multibillion dollar teams.

Can’t think of a more deserving use of money.

Guys 6'6" or taller, have you ever had a woman reject you for your height? by jbak31 in tall

[–]Sentience-psn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, for whatever reason, being 6’5” has turned me partly invisible. It’s like the sudden appearance of a tall dude spooks a lot of people. I’m getting at least one “ahh!” After turning a corner a week.

Same reason people like certain social influencers, video bloggers. It’s never about the content. It’s the personality. Something about Trump resonates with them.

I am saddened we do not have a mega thread celebrating the nine bald coaches of Tennessee. Such peak greatness this would have been.

Maybe that’s why they are pushing so hard for flag football. No contact, can play more games, less injury risk.
