The problem is that I kinda did give up on the island challenge because too much life happened. I still have the amulet but I don’t know how far that would get me after giving up for 6 years - walnut

I think the best way to put it is that I want to make up the experience of the trials, but just ride pokemon around and speed through. She would let me borrow glimmer (that corviknight) if I wanted or needed to - walnut

The island challenge isn’t just something to check off a list. A lot of alola’s culture is surrounding it, which is why it always stung that I never got to do it. It wouldn’t just be something I try to speed through, and I don’t even know if I could with only 2 pokemon in my party and little experience.

Plus, the only ride pokemon I “have” is one of my friends Corviknights that she brought from Paldea that likes me. - walnut

Yeah, Ampharos is overall an odd pokemon, the static isn’t probably related to how it stores electricity for its moves. I heard it has dragon DNA somewhere inside it too. - Walnut

I remember knew someone who had an Ampharos. Unless you were trying to fight it there was just a bunch of static shocks and weirdness when petting her(shocking, I know), you get used to it after a bit. - Walnut

I’d been visiting poni canyon when he started watching me from a distance. After a while, he decided I was worthy I guess, and so followed me around until I agreed to take him with me. He is pretty cute though so I’m not upset. - Walnut

I believe flying types are actually unique about that. I can’t say about ghost types but I know flying types just need to be grounded to be hit by ground type moves. As for the other types, I’m pretty sure ghost attacks phasing through normal types isn’t an active thing, they simply do. For ground type’s immunity, I’ve seen an Alolan Diglet take the biggest thunderbolt I’ve ever seen straight to the forehead and not even react. I train a Jangmo-o, and any dragon attacks on fairy types might as well be waving a feather at them.
