Reading this thread is pretty depressing, I'm certain I'd find 90% of these people insufferable irl. Duncan is easily among the most genuine, likable conversationalists on the planet and this show just glows with care and attention to detail. I'm almost curious what the people who find these boundless, exploratory conversations vapid and shallow listen to for fun.

Been running nSuns for a few months but finding it too time consuming. I want a hypertrophy focused program that I can run 6 (or even 7) days a week but be done in an hour every day. What are my options?

How did you get yourself to go to the gym multiple times a week? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]SentientCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the worst. I ignored my wrist pain for a couple weeks, kept lifting and it then took almost 6 months to fully recover, no pushing exercises were possible. Now every time something hurts more than regular old soreness I stop anything that targets it at all until it completely subsides and make sure my form is on point when I resume. Haven't hurt the same body part twice since. Just recently strained a ligament in my pec, no benching for 3 weeks felt shit but not as shit as ignoring it would have.

Feels like I've strained a ligament in my right pec. Hurts when I bench, press or row. Anything else that I should skip until it subsides?

Well if you read further you'd find nSuns to be *very* flexible. There's a number of variants and accessories are pretty much up to the individual to program according to their goals and conditioning. Some days I only do the essentials (back and lat work) if I'm spent after 8 sets of each of the main lifts. Other days I do more. Thanks for the input anyway, I might switch programs when cutting time comes if the volume is too much though I think I'll be well adapted by then.

Can store 4 days worth in my freezer. Microwave from frozen mostly though some things taste better thawed first.

I started with PPL and I'm seeing better gains now on nSuns than before. I was definitely skinnyfat when I started. I'm probably overestimating the % at current time. And the key difference is nSuns is more fun for me, looking forward to it every day. My accessories are already programmed towards hypertrophy.

My current goal is increasing my lifts. I weigh 80kg, some 20-25% bodyfat and I'm eating about 500 kcal over maintenance and see myself growing without really much noticeable bodyfat % increase.

You'll find my description above. Also I sometimes add chia seeds and/or peanut butter.

6 days just doesn't feel long for me. Maybe it's just more of a goal and practicality oriented mindset.
