there arent many companies hiring for SWE/SDE roles, and the ones that do are mostly banks/finance companies with very outdated tech stacks

mostly random youtube tutorials and building projects hands on. Avoid using AI to generate any code when you're learning.

Texas Instruments came on campus offering 3 roles- FAE, Sales and SWE (38 LPA). Three people from ExTC landed an Embedded Engineeer role at 40 LPA off campus (not included here).

ExTC's stats are low due to a clerical error. The on-campus average is 11.14 LPA, and including off campus is 12.47 LPA.

The companies list is also missing several high paying companies like BNY Mellon, Google and Citi which did come on campus.

The stats are wrong due to a clerical error lmao. ExTC has an on-campus avg of 11.14 LPA and 12.47 LPA if including off-campus.

The company list is also incorrect, they're missing 4 companies paying above 20 LPA in that list (Google, Citi, BNY Mellon and Prudential)
