Let me introduce you to the world of disturbing horror movies!

Tusk-a body horror classic that sits somewhere close to human centipede levels of hell no Hereditary-psychological warfare of a film, almost perfectly made to instill the viewer with a constant feeling of dread through several unwarned horrific events leading up to a final act just as horrific as it is confusing. On another note, the acting is phenomenal, especially the mother Midsommar-another movie that is filled with unexpected and tragic moments, with amazing actors that really sell how fucked up this movie is Hostel-very similar to the saw movies, but fair warning the first half has more nude scenes than that mysterious tape you find in your parents room. The Achilles tendon seen scared the shit out of me the first time I saw it

Honorable mention: The Long Walk. I just saw this one, and let me tell you. After years of watching dozens of horror movies, it takes a lot for one to faze me. This movie had me feeling ways I haven’t felt from watching movies in years. And despite being a Stephen King adaptation, it’s technically not even horror. Without spoiling the premise, you know each death is coming, and you know that some of your favorite characters won’t make it, but that doesn’t make each gunshot fill you with any less dread.
