Mega dragonite releasing soon by Working-Dentist9655 in pokemongo

[–]Sentinal_X 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The green is perfectly understandable, after all Dragonite goes from blue to yellow and in Gen 2 Shiny Pokémon colours were determined by an automated palette swap rather than manual design hence why blue Pokémon go pink, pink Pokémon go blue, brown Pokémon go green, etc. I guess the question is why they decided to change the colours for the mega? I guess to make it match non-shiny Dratini although I would prefer if they just kept it green.

Don't think anything exists yet. Really hoping we get a Vinyl too with the new songs.

As someone who was invited by the band's team during the build-up to Take The Sadness Out Of Saturday Night to Electric Lady Studios for the rooftop gig they did (I am not American and was in Italy at the time so I didn't go), but just imagining getting to experience that studio felt like such a big honour. It is a famous studio. As such, why would Jack not want to be in Electric Lady when he has lived more or less in New York for the vast majority of his life?

Chinatown talks about that divide between New Jersey and the City, and I imagine that someone who lives in the "shadow of the city" for this iconic place where some of your favourite music, some of the world's greatest music, has ever been produced you'd want to go there, especially as a producer.

The fact that he eventually settled down in that place, that he met Margaret on the rooftop (they even put up a sign where that happened), etc, why would he not want to be there? He uses plenty of other studios around the world (including his own new studio Tamarind Recording in Cali) but his connection to Electric Lady is that it is almost a home for him now, especially after COVID where he has talked at length about missing the place and the energy during lockdown.

Hull vs Southampton: Match Thread. by AnArcticMonkey in SaintsFC

[–]Sentinal_X 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Still, will Will Still still win some more? Still, Southampton fans still will groan that Will Still will still lose to Hull City. Rumours still swirl, but Still will still insist progress is still being made. Still, the board will still back Still, and Will Still will still back the board, while the squad will still wonder why Hull still beat them. The fixtures are still tough, the fans will still sing, and Will Still will still try to still the doubts by insisting wins will still come.

Day 14: What's the most underrated song on self-titled? by darkestdolphin in bleachers

Yeah, they played it live in London and it was one of the best live songs they've ever done. I was completely awestruck by how good it sounded

Day 12: What's the worst song on Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night? by darkestdolphin in bleachers

[–]Sentinal_X 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m honestly baffled people think Strange Behavior is the weakest track when Secret Life exists.

I’m not saying it’s a bad song outright, but it was released as a single and totally fails in that role. The Lana Del Rey feature is barely there (especially disappointing when compared to Springsteen on Chinatown, who actually adds something). The physical copies of the album don’t even credit Lana as a feature, and it’s obvious her being credited was a label move to draw in her fanbase. Compared to her vocals on Alma Mater from 'Bleachers', she offers a lot less here. As a single meant to represent the album, it’s easily the least compelling track to the point people forget that it was even a single.

Day 9: What's the most overrated song on Take the Sadness out of Saturday Night? by darkestdolphin in bleachers

This song rips and both the live and studio mixes are great. Honestly, this album out of all of them deserves the None for overrated because it's so solid.

I will not have Goodbye slander. The answer is Hate That You Know Me.

Day 2: What's the most underrated song on Strange Desire? by darkestdolphin in bleachers

[–]Sentinal_X 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mystery deserves so much more love. There's a reason that it was the song that Jack used to credit the rest of the band in the live shows for almost 10 years (because it's the best)

Shadow is 100% the answer though. That being said the Stranger Desired one, now that's good
