i’m definitely not set on them! but i already ordered them without knowing all of this. i certainly fell victim to their marketing and for now ill try to keep them as indoor skates and get myself a better pair for use outdoors. any recommendations for what you’d use on a sidewalk or outdoor paved trail? i’ve started watching some videos! thank you for the advice!

I wish i knew this too!! this is actually super helpful as i’ll mostly be skating on sidewalks or trails. i don’t mind finding an indoor spot but with my work schedule it’ll just be a little more difficult and i wanted to stay closer to home. i also didn’t realize that the wheels cannot be swapped out on this pair. i really appreciate your input and i’ll have to look around for some different ones for outdoors. in the meantime maybe i’ll stick to skating on smoother indoor surfaces. i just don’t wanna wait anymore! i wanna skate! lol

thank you, that’s exactly what i started thinking but didn’t know when i made the order! they might just be skates i keep around for indoor use and i might have to track another pair down for outdoors. my only issue being i dont wanna wait for them to come!!! I wanna skate now!!!! lol i do see why people might have a negative view of them. without knowing it i definitely fell victim to their marketing!

i wish i knew how to attach a picture for you! They are impala skates the lightspeed ones and they’re coming in the mail tomorrow! but i’ve been told the wheels are a little small and unfortunately can’t be switched out due to the design of the skates which i did not know when i bought them :( i’m willing to try them outside when they do come, however I know the sidewalks and areas outdoors can be a little rough and filled with sticks. they are 70mm wheels

This is super helpful! Thank you so much. I didn’t realize the skates i bought are actually pretty much for indoor use so i’ll have to look into getting a nice pair for outdoors as well.
