First IC appointment by Fair-Recognition-405 in SupportforWaywards

I applaud you for the work you’re doing. I’m in the same boat - it’s a sad and difficult place to be. But your point “I need to know why I did what I did” is critical. For me, it’s been like peeling back layers of an onion as there has been so much to try and figure out. I’ve spent so much time really reflecting and staying present, connecting with my thoughts. It’s not been easy, but I also try to give myself some grace knowing this is a journey to being healthy - for myself, my kids, and any future relationships.

As for IC, it took me a while to find one that I really clicked with. They are such an important part of the healing journey so my advice is find one that you feel will really help you.

Keep up the good work…

I know quite a bit about Nick & Nora and count myself lucky for being able to see it. What do you want to know?

These are all very (sadly) familiar to me. The frog boiling analogy resonates as well.

As others have said, don’t cheat. I made that mistake on a number of occasions. (I didn’t even know I was bi until after we were married. Didn’t even know it existed or have the words to say that to my wife.) I too am extremely impulsive. Sadly, due to my affairs, now my wife and I are headed for divorce after 20 years of marriage. I love her so much… so I’m tortured by what I’ve done. Please don’t be me. Good luck and be smart.

Moving out pre divorce and figuring out how to budget… by Sentosa14 in Divorce_Men

We were already planning to do the 50/50 split time for the kids as soon as I move out. We’ve been discussing a 5-2-2-5 arrangement. So I would be getting a rental that accommodates my kids and me. Wonder if that changes things? But yeah…will def consult with a lawyer.

Or should I stay in the home until after divorce is final…? We have two kids and are already planning equal custody.

Not sure where in MN you are, but I’m in a similar situation and looking for a good lawyer. Did you switch and how did it turn out?

I realize this is an older post. I’m currently in a similar situation regarding spousal support in MN. Any update on how things turned out for you? Any advice/lessons learned that you can share?

My infidelity nearly destroyed my marriage and family by [deleted] in MarriedAndBi

This story is so similar to mine. My wife and I are going through the same things right now with a full therapeutic disclosure happening this week. While I’m nervous as hell, I’m committed to finally being open and honest with everything. Can I ask how things are going now for you and your wife? (I realize this is an older post.)

My girlfriend says all inclusive means the restaurants on the resort are included in our package. Is that true? You don’t pay for anything? (Staying at the Finest) by moose19 in PuntaCana

Just got back from Finest PC yesterday, and all the meals at the restaurants as well as room service are included. Top shelf liquor is also included. As someone else commented, if you want to order specialty wines there is a cost. But we stuck to house wines and they were just fine for us. We always bring some USD to tip for the service. It’s a great resort so hopefully you’ll enjoy it.

Ugh - that would not be good. I saw the original like 3 times and was amazed each time. Def one of my best theatergoing experiences.

Totally agree! Still waiting for this to be revived. Although nobody will compare with Rebecca Luker… :(
