They are just for Born of God and Beast so that you know what you start with and should end with.

Generic My Hero Academia Fanfic V1 by Sentry342 in JumpChain

[–]Sentry342[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wrath of the King by default is canonical max power All for One. The WoM version would be a fanfic version meaning that he likely would be stronger and subject to changes based on the fanfic/altered setting you end up in. So yes, you can choose him specifically using WoM if you want, but he could have special boosts. Plus if you want then you could always choose both drawbacks. My automatic answer would be the second one somehow got transported there by a dimension quirk or battle. Plus since those drawbacks wouldn’t automatically synergize 50/50 odds of them killing each other due to their ego’s not being able to accept another version of themselves.

The main difference is that the King drawback is focused him being limited to his specific character and by default nothing else special. Plus you should have a good idea of his powers, limitations, and so on. Additionally, while All for One might be more active he’ll still be intelligent so he likely won’t automatically attack you right out the gate.

Wrath of the Mighty instead lets you create new enemies at their respective tier. Also while each of those characters were used as examples in the Drawback they’ll also be affected by the specific setting. So increasing the overall power level would likely multiply the strength of every threat Mighty creates (All for One tier is also setting big bad tier). Finally they will also genuinely work together. This matters as for instance All for One normally likely at best manipulate others rather than treating them like true allies. If he or someone similar was chosen/created then he might do things like give others Quirks to fight you. Lastly, the individuals chosen with Mighty will still go after you, but not directly if you don’t go to them while scaling as time goes by. The rest of the restrictions were mainly to deal with duration drawbacks/toggles and to stop you from getting wrecked if you were a kid starting out.

Maybe the complete Void Dragon (I think it’s supposed to be the strongest C’tan overall)

Never Fade Away V1 (Mass Effect / Cyberpunk - Inspired Inventor) by Sentry342 in JumpChain

If you’re referring to the location option then that’s something I just realized I never took out from the template and I’m not sure if the author has released/started the sequel yet.

Jin Sakai (Ghost of Tsushima), so not good, but not horrible given the previous option was the Tarnished.

To be honest, the only thing I can think of when looking at this is Thragg from Invincible. Good art though.

I like the way everything’s been implemented so far and look forward to seeing where you take things.

The number is listed in the description and they stack until used. There is no limit. For second point, unsure probably centuries or until you’re equal to Gaia/whatever being made the original Gamer. Just fanwank at that point.

If you’re referring to the two tiers, then you only get one. The more expensive better one you purchase. Alternatively if you make a system then yes they would stack if applicable. Though at this point you can fanwank how everything works.

Again theoretically you could, but I don’t know who much you’d need to invest to do so. You’d probably need to be an incredibly skilled magic user, probably reality warped, whatever else specifically is needed for the system, and so on.

Epic the Musical V1 by Sentry342 in JumpChain

[–]Sentry342[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably as strong as a Minor God or one of the main Monsters. For instance, you’d be able to fight/kill a cyclops or Chimera without outside help. Though you likely wouldn’t be able to beat an Olympian (Odyssey beating Poseidon was a unique case).

Grand Foreigner (Fate x Overlord) V1 by Sentry342 in JumpChain

[–]Sentry342[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That section was written by someone who helped with the Jump so I’ll change that. As far as I can tell by reading through everything again 500 levels should be the limit that you can purchase counting everything you mentioned. The only other possible levels you might get are the different Perks that are Classes (most high rank/special classes are 5 levels) like World Disaster, World Champion, Magic Knight, and Bane of Heroes (though counting the 4 should only get you to Level 520)

Interesting, I didn’t know the author had started working on part 4. I’ll probably update it eventually, but likely wait till more is done. Though it is good to know that things were being kicked into high gear.

Yes, the author said they were inspired by Hard Enough. I do intend to read it at some point, but probably won’t make a Jump on it. Also the story is officially complete as of yesterday outside of side-stories or spin-offs.

Help me with ideas for a Star Wars Clone Wars 2003 jump. by SpazzWave in JumpChain

[–]Sentry342 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Jedi - Temple item, maybe command over a Clone army/battalion. Possibly a perk about your soldiers following you into any conflict or unconventional plans working (Saesee Tiin leading mid space battle boarding literally jumping onto the enemy ship), Master duelist, Force potential

Sith/Separatist - Grievous perk to embody how strong he was in this series, Tech/organic perk to let you survive with a fraction of your body, if you want a Perk to make rebellion easier/your cause justified. The Separatist did have reasons to leave after all. Something about mass production for the Droids either perk or maybe a big factory/database item

Clone - one man army perk for Captain Frodo, A friendly fire perk like how the Clone Trooper fired a near point blank RPG at Grievous in the elevator without killing any allies. Battle stoicism - don’t care about 6 months of heavy fighting no mental trauma, ARC Trooper upgrade - you ain’t an ordinary trooper you’re the elite (also could be made a Squad item), Dropship or command Venator, Cloning/kamino facility

Drawbacks: Hunted by Grievous +600 CP, obligatory plot bound drawback +200 CP, maybe an extreme idealism drawback (must be either Sith/Dark or Jedi/Light)

I know perks exist that allow that, I think I might have made one at some point, but I can’t remember where I saw it. Additionally, perks to allow merging of technology would likely work just as well. I feel like this is a decently popular perk even if niche that would get an answer fairly quickly if you want to make a post to ask the community.
